ILLAFTrain Qatar Concludes the Trainers Training TOT Course for a VIP Group in the Somali Foreign Ministry

A diplomatic delegation made up of fifteen representatives from the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended a Trainers Training TOT course offered by ILLAFTrain Qatar in association with the Qatar Diplomatic Institute from December 11 to December 16, 2019 as part of the "Nasayem Program for Training Foreign Diplomats."
The consultant, Dr. Mohammed Pedra, provided the training for this course. By having a conversation with the trainees to learn more about their expectations for the course, the course started off by breaking the ice.
The course included a set of important topics and points, including:
Familiarity:
The participants learned about the concept of familiarity, its development process, and rules, as well as how a trainer can boost a trainee's self-confidence and encourage participation, interaction, and questioning, in addition to how to create a fun learning environment and cater to the trainees' needs professionally.
Educational Process:
Regarding this topic, it covered a lot of crucial information for any professional trainer, such as the seven principles of Accelerated Learning, the steps of the educational process, the adult learning principles, the components of the training objective, and how to create such objectives. In addition to drawing the trainees' attention in accordance with McClelland's theory, how to give feedback to the learners, important guidelines for providing summaries and reviews
Presentation:
This topic covered a set of vital guidelines for enhancing the speaker's self-assurance and the fundamentals of speaking. Along with vocal speech components, nonverbal communication principles, and methods to enhance the trainer's voice's impact. It was also taught how to benefit from pauses and the speed of sound. Along with crucial visual communication advice, this topic also included methods for enhancing the impact of physical speech and the use of gestures to enhance the message.
The trainer, Dr. Mohammad Pedra, broke down expectations by delivering information using a variety of techniques and approaches. The application of Accelerated Learning techniques had a significant impact on the participants' acceptance of the information presented during the course, which was reflected in the daily-evolving quality of their training presentations.
The short course days left the participants with a sense of accomplishment and progress, and the course came to a successful conclusion, so the participants expressed gratitude to ILLAFTrain Qatar and the trainer, Dr. Mohammad Pedra, for providing them with this quality of education and training.
