The foundation of coaching is the liberation and freedom of talents and the coaching's role in clarifying goals for others so that they can be transformed into a workable plan that can be accomplished on the ground. For any professional in their field, coaching is an essential competence.
Based on the keenness to provide distinguished courses, and under the eminent direction of the Consultant Trainer Dr. Mohammed Pedra, Career for Management Training (the exclusive representative of IllafTrain-UK in Doha) provided the Certified Coach course in the city of Doha from February 18 to February 22, 2023.
Dr. Mohammed succeeded in embodying the partnership relationship between the coach and the client by removing all obstacles that stood in the participants’ way in acquiring coaching skills and transforming them into a practical reality through which they can apply these sciences in various aspects of their lives. This served as a tool for growth and success because of the participants’ enthusiasm and passion for using these new skills in their social and professional life.
The course began by presenting the coaching fundamentals and the significance of implementing the coaching culture, followed by an explanation of the four-step coaching map and clarifying the activities involved in each step. All of this was accomplished through effective communication, which should be the primary goal of the coaching process. The explanation for this step focused on how to gather information professionally by formulating deep, insightful questions and developing effective dialogue techniques.
Then Dr. Mohammed continued with a thorough explanation of the four coaching steps, which are as follows:
- Connect with the Client.
- Assemble Plans.
- Continue and Support Progression.
- Have Results Shared.
The participants deserve the title of coach only when they put all the aforementioned into practice.
During the explanation, Dr. Mohammed was eager to put the experiment into practice so the participants could experience what it is like to be a coach. To do this, the participants were divided into two groups and asked to switch roles, with one group acting as the coachees and the other as the coach. This practical application showed enthusiasm and interaction in the coaching hall. Additionally, by continuing the application daily and in successive sessions, the participants were able to harvest results that were above and beyond their expectations.
Career Center for Management Training concluded by expressing gratitude to the honorable participants. In addition, Dr. Mohammed delivered his closing speech, emphasizing the value of applying the coaching techniques taught to real-world situations and measuring the results achieved. Hence, the closing was with the same enthusiasm that the course had begun with.
